Very nice bedroom, spacious lounge, very good bathroom facilities. The hosts were very nice, welcoming and had lots of personal experience for recommendations which is what you want when going somewhere new so you can enjoy things that little bit more than if you just follow the tourism guides. Really useful tips. The breakfast was very nice, a really good high standard. Filling but the sausages and bacon were nice and light, not heavy like some breakfasts can be. I would have thought the Sweet Escape Retreat was running for years, but I was very surprised to find out Dafydd and Dawn are newcomers as they have got things spot on. They are clearly naturals. We will be going back, there are more parts of the area to explore and more of those tips on the local hotspots to enjoy.

Our stay at The Sweet Escape was like no other stay in Anglesey. Dafydd & Dawn were fabulous hosts and their BnB was so beautiful to stay in. We were welcomed with a cup of tea and a few slices of cake, a little tour of the house and some useful recommendations for restaurants and places to visit throughout our stay. The breakfast was amazing (highly recommend you to have scrambled eggs) and they’re surrounded by picturesque views including a lake you can walk around! The house as very clean and our room was perfect for our stay. Also thoroughly enjoyed fusses with their dog Fudge who is extremely well trained and friendly. We will be booking again and recommending The Sweet Escape to everyone we know!

Beautiful place, amazing hosts!  Dawn and Dafydd are amazing hosts, the room and bathroom were immaculate and the breakfast was great.. My wife and I stayed for a night, we were met on arrival with a brew and a lovely slice of cake. We have never visited Anglesey before but Dawn and Dafydd took the time to point out places of interest and beautiful places to visit. Highly recommended.

Dawn and Dafydd’s place is charming and sparkling clean. A relaxing cottage surrounded by nature. They are excellent hosts and pay attention to all details. Thanks to their advices we discovered beautiful places in North Wales. Their breakfast is delicious. We warmly recommend it!

First rate experience! We loved staying with Dafydd and Dawn - a warm welcome and helpful advice throughout our stay. Delicious and home cooked breakfast each morning with beautiful views of their property. Fantastic to see the stars on our last night! A great place to stay close to Snowdonia - will definitely be back to hike a few more mountains!

Both Dawn and Dafydd were friendly and accommodating, recommending a few places locally where I could have dinner, which saved me looking around. Wouldn't hesitate staying at the Sweet Escape Retreat again.

I had such a relaxing time staying at The Apollo Suite with lots of space to chill out and enjoy the surroundings of the garden and lake plus the local area. Dawn and Dafydd are great hosts - always available to answer questions or check you’re ok and that you have everything you need. A really gorgeous place to spend a few days. What a lovely treat!

You will find a very warm welcome in a lovely house, set in tranquil gardens with its own lake. Breakfast was excellent. Daffydd and Dawn couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them.

Dawn and Dafydd (and Fudge!) were such wonderful hosts and very warm and welcoming. We had a short stay before getting the ferry to Ireland and it was a great start to our holiday!
